The Awana Grand Prix

The gang at our first Grand Prix.
You can see what these two liked about the Grand Prix!

The smile says it all... congrats on 2nd place in speed Olivia!

Here is the car that Olivia designed, painted, and decorated. (Daddy deserves the credit for cutting it out and placing the wheels and weights)

On one of the warm days we had recently, the girls were playing outside. I was holding the baby, and she kept straining to see outside. So, I let her stand on the couch and watch the girls. It was so cute to watch her light up and laugh when they would wave to her. Here she is waving to Olivia.

Some things need no teaching...

You don't have to teach a girl to love a doll. Olivia gave Annabelle this doll and she hugged and patted it. It was tooo funny.

Here comes Olivia the fish with pink goggles!

Sending Our Sympathy

Our prayers and sympathy go out to the Keller-Shook-and Dern Families at this time of loss of Betty Keller (Great-Grandma Keller as my girls fondly called her). She passed away Monday, March 12th due to complications of Parkinsons' disease. She will be missed by all, but especially her husband of 59 1/2 years. He faithfully loved and cared for her through her last days.

Julie's Homegoing (Monday Evening, March 5th)

This is a picture of my sweet friend Julie Halsey and her premie son Luke (taken 2 years ago last December). Many of you have heard me talk about her over the years. She had terminal breast cancer that had invaded much of her body. I could say many things about this incredible lady, but I think what stands out the most was her commitment to God and her family. She had such a desire to use her life circumstances to glorify God. She went about life as normally as possible to the END. (Although very weak, she wanted me to help her scrapbook Fri. night. Also, her husband worked all of last week!) Today I feel sad for all left here, but utter joy for her. She is home with JESUS! What a thought.... I've been thinking about it all day. I'll miss her.

Snow White and other MYSTERIOUS ladies visit...

Thanks Aunt Kathy for gracing our home with yet another nice addition to our ever growing dress up box.

They made these masks in art class at the YMCA.
"Hey this moving around thing is kinda fun... wait, I can't move anymore.... I'm STUCK!!! .... and frustrated! It's the third time today that I ended up here!!!"
